27th Annual North Mecklenburg Christmas Parade

It's almost time for the 27th Annual North Mecklenburg Christmas Parade! 
Join friends, family and neighbors on Saturday, December 5th at 1:00 p.m. and experience first-hand one of our community's oldest holiday traditions!  
 
Grand Marshals will lead the parade from Beaty Street in Davidson, down Hwy. 115 to Mt. Zion Church in Cornelius.  Gather on both sides of the street to enjoy the exciting lineup of fire trucks, floats, performers, local organizations and high school bands.  Make the North Mecklenburg Christmas Parade a part of your family's holiday traditions!  The show will go on…rain or shine!

Parade Day Road Closures
Main Street (Hwy 115), from Beaty St. in Davidson to Washam-Potts Road in Cornelius, will be closed from 12:30pm to 3:00pm. 
 

Additionally In Cornelius 
Catawba Avenue will be closed from Oak Street to Hwy. 115 and tractor trailers will not be permitted east of Hwy. 21 on Catawba Avenue after 12:15pm.  For alternate routes, or additional information, please contact the Cornelius Police Department.
 

Additionally in Davidson
Griffith Street (from Beaty St. to North Main St.) will be closed from 12:30pm-3:00pm.  Please look for detour signs to connecting roads to Hwy 115. For alternate routes, or additional information, please contact the Davidson Police Department.  
 

The parade is presented by the Cornelius-Lemley Volunteer Fire Department
and the Davidson Fire Department.
