Due to limited class size, students may only attend the days selected.  Please remember that strudents are only permitted to come to class on alternate days if specific details are arranged with an instructor prior to class.

Quickstart        Ages 4-10
This format allows juniors to be more successful PLAYING the game of tennis.  We will utilize foam balls and a 36-foot court for 8 and under groups.  We will utilize low compression balls and a 60-foot court for 10  and under groups.  This format, along with the proper equipment, will get your junior playing tennis and will feed them into team and tournament play.  The RPTA has been utilizing  Quickstart with amazing results!

3:30-4:15pm    Mon-Thurs  $120 per session or $420 for all four sessions
4:15-5:00pm    Mon-Thurs  $120 per session or $420 for all four sessions

5:00-6:30pm    Mon-Thur  $200 per session or $700 for all four sessions

We are excited to announce a new Director for the Cornelius Adult and Junior programs.  Scott Tucker is the former Director of the Sports Club of Greenville in Greenville, SC.  Scott and his family have re-located to the Lake Norman area to run our lake programs.  We are excited to have Scott's experience and leadership as part of the RPTA.

Established in 1986 and headquartered in Statesville, the RPTA has produced six national titles and 86 state titles. Meanwhile, their beginner programs get players of all ages started with proper mechanics and sportsmanship training. They are committed to providing opportunities for children of all socio-economic conditions to learn and play tennis. On-court stroke instruction, combined with strategy drills and fitness training, makes the RPTA a unique training program for beginner, intermediate, and advanced players.
